Child and adolescent therapy requires a unique approach to appropriately address the differing and quickly changing developmental stages. As a child-developmentalist and clinical social worker, my educational and career journeys have focused on working with children in various settings and with differing diagnoses.

Sessions with your child or teen will be age and developmentally appropriate and focused on patiently and lovingly working through each issue your child or teen is struggling with. I will also work with the parent(s) or other guardian(s), as deemed appropriate, to ensure the most beneficial work is done for your child or teen within the context of his or her family, social, academic, and other relevant systems. In addition, I provide parent/family therapy and parent coaching/education and guidance throughout my work with your child or teen.

PLEASE NOTE: Though I have an extensive knowledge and education in psychopharmacology, by law I am NOT authorized to prescribe or administer psychotropic medications; however, I will work directly with your medical and psychiatric team to ensure continuity of care. In addition, I will help you manage your medication and its side effects, identify any accompanying problems, and teach you to advocate for yourself should the medication or dosage no longer be effective
